Story Tree by Orange Moon

Story Tree

THE STORY TREE

Stories are told with children at the youngest ages and until the end of time. Nursery Rhymes are the beginning of our oral language experience and we share our world with excitement, song, puppets and props. Sitting under the story tree invites children of all ages to sit-a-spell and hear a yarn from Mother Nature. Mary Jo uses a tree prop to introduce stories from nature and to challenge the children to help write a tell-able tale.

SCHOOL & LIBRARY VISITS

Mary Jo will visit your school or library and share music, movement, finger plays and stories from the beginning of Mother Goose to modern times.

SCHOOL VISITS

Children are divided into age groups such as Pre-K & K, 1,2,3 & 4,5. The presentations are interactive and address state literacy standards involving language, listening, music, movement, telling and retelling stories, and dramatic play.

LIBRARY PROGRAMS

Are designed for summer reading themes or program development as directed by the librarian.

GETTIN’ LOOSE WITH MOTHER GOOSE!
